Machine Learning Researcher

We're currently working with a huge top 10 global R&D company for their branch based in Amsterdam, and we're searching for a passionate Senior Researcher to join our cutting-edge team working on AI and speech synthesis.

They are offering either permanent opportunities (for EU Citizens) or 12 month renewable contracts with opportunity for extension (with VISA sponsorship).

Responsibilities include

• Teaching emotions in speech: Developing ground-breaking algorithms that will accurately recognize emotions from spoken language.
• Expressive speech: Design intriguing models that create natural sounding, emotionally rich text-to-speech synthesis.
• See research projects come into reality: Collaborate with other brilliant engineers like yourself to integrate these technologies into real-world applications
• Staying at the forefront: Be a lifelong learner, keeping up with the latest technology in AI, machine learning, and affective computing.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with text-to-speech algorithms, speech processing, machine learning, and related areas.
• Experience analysing and interpreting multimodal data (speech, facial expressions, etc.).

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and signal processing.
• A passion for pushing the boundaries of AI and its potential impact.
