Our client is a leading Dutch technology company specializing in real estate software solutions. With a track record of innovation and growth, they've built a robust on-premises infrastructure that supports their enterprise-level applications. Their flat hierarchy promotes direct communication and quick decision-making, enabling teams to drive their success and technological advancement.

The infrastructure team, currently 9 members strong, forms the backbone of the organization's technical operations. Managing an extensive on-premises network infrastructure including core switching, routing, firewalls, and approximately 600 servers across multiple data centers, the team alternates between operational and engineering sprints.

In this role, you will design and implement network architectures while maintaining their Linux-based server environment, ensuring seamless integration between infrastructure and systems. You will be crucial in troubleshooting complex network and system issues while modernizing the infrastructure through automation and monitoring solutions to ensure optimal performance across all platforms.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with networking

- Experience with network monitoring tools and protocols

- Cisco networking certification (CCNP or equivalent)

- 3+ years of Linux systems administration experience, preferably Debian

Nice to Have:

- Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible/Python)

- Experience with load balancers (F5/HAProxy)

- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) knowledge

- Experience working in self-managing teams
