Senior Analyst - Risk Management

Job Summary

The role focuses on providing independent risk management oversight for large-scale organizational and technological changes. Responsibilities include conducting product risk analyses, conducting Business Continuity exercise, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with various teams to enhance BCM and risk management practices.

Overall, this position supports senior leadership in fostering a risk-aware culture and BCM practice within the organization

Key Accountabilities

• Assist the Senior Manager or Head by providing detailed analysis and reports on the risks associated with new product and change or technological changes, offering recommendations on risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct independent risk reviews of key organizational projects, ensuring that change-related risks are identified, evaluated, and mitigated throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide independent oversight of the first line’s change management activities, ensuring risk assessments are performed for significant projects and initiatives.
  
  

Other Accountabilities

• Review and challenge IT and Infosec risk management processes, ensuring the robustness of IT security controls and alignment with risk appetite.
• Monitor and review first-line risk management activities, ensuring effective implementation of risk controls.
• Provide oversight on BCP and disaster recovery plans, ensuring they are tested regularly and remain fit for purpose.
• Assist Head in the planning of the Business Continuity Plan.
