Dragonfly is the world's leading in-memory data store, delivering 25x the performance compared with Redis/Valkey by utilizing state-of-the-art transactional algorithms and Linux APIs such as io_uring.
We are seeking a Senior Core C++ Engineer (Israel/Remote) to join our best-in-class team to develop the open technology behind Dragonfly using C++17.
You Will- Contribute to our public project on GitHub, maintain it, and actively participate in the fast-growing surrounding community.
- Design, implement, launch, and maintain core features within Dragonfly.
- Drive the technological roadmap forward.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4-6 years of relevant industry experience.
- A strong willingness to work within a 100% distributed engineering team, collaborating effectively on GitHub in an open and self-directed manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong foundation in C/C++.
- A genuine desire to continuously learn and expand your knowledge.
- Proven experience in leading open-source projects, including managing contributors, guiding technical direction, and ensuring project success.
- Demonstrated ability to significantly contribute to open-source projects, including strong technical expertise, collaboration skills, and impact on the project's growth and development.
- A fast learner who thrives in remote/hybrid work environments.
- Passionate about innovation and open-source contributions.
