Senior Java Engineer (Kotlin)

As a Software Engineer in Algorithmic Traffic Acquisition, you'll be part of a team responsible for bringing over 40 million monthly visitors to the company. As a member of Team Content, you'll fuel our network of ads, finding ways to drive efficiency and expand our reach.

IF YOU ARE

Showing commercial expertise in Kotlin (preferred), Java, or C#
Skilled in SQL, writing efficient queries, and designing schema
Aware of software engineering best practices: thoughtful design, clean code, comprehensive tests
A practitioner of functional programming (is not a must)
Well-versed in React (would be a plus)
Professional with Redis (as an advantage)
Experienced with AWS, and Terraform (as a perk)
Effective at clearly communicating your ideas in English

AND YOU WANT TO

Build, maintain, and improve highly performant batch systems written with clean, well-tested code
Maintain and improve our internal UI for managing our ad program
Participate in code reviews, contributing to a team culture of continuous improvement
Work with non-technical stakeholders, supporting requests for data analysis and new data pipelines
Participate in daily triage rotation, identifying system-wide issues and alerting the teams responsible
Tackle technical challenges in data handling, query optimization, and memory efficiency
