Software Engineer

• 6 Month contract + high potential to extend
• Day rate around $650 + Super depending on provided experience
• Hybrid working arrangement - WFH/Office

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and enhance APIs, utilising Java, Node.js, and TypeScript within an AWS cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain APIs, working on both existing and new implementations.
• Utilise Java, Node.js, and TypeScript to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Work with AWS cloud infrastructure, including containerisation and microservices.
• Implement unit testing and test automation to ensure robust software quality.

Required Skills:

• Strong API development skills with a proven track record.
• Proven experience with Java, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Experience working with AWS cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of microservices and best practices.
• Proficiency in unit testing frameworks to ensure code reliability.
• Exposure in the financial sector is beneficial but not essential
