We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our team in Brussels, working on exciting projects in a dynamic and multicultural environment

Tasks

  • Development and integration of technological components.
  • Implementation of user requirements.
  • Prototyping.
  • Preparation of test programs.
  • Integration with other applications.
  • Drafting of technical documentation.
  • Assistance with system deployment and configuration.
  • Participation in project team meetings.


Requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Education level corresponding to Level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework, which typically corresponds to a 3-year bachelor's degree.
  • In-depth knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS
  • In-depth knowledge of Java 8 and Java 11. (Java 17 or higher is a plus).
  • In-depth knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS).Good knowledge of Agile principles.
  • Good knowledge of design principles such as SOLID, IDEALS, and CQRS. (SAGA is a plus).
  • Good knowledge of interoperability technologies (REST, Service-Oriented Architecture, web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus).
  • Knowledge of UML, particularly use case diagrams, state transition diagrams, and activity diagrams.
  • Ability to draft clear and structured technical documents.
  • Skills to deliver technical and commercial presentations.
  • Ability to apply high-quality standards.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to adapt to changing technologies in application architecture and design.
  • Ability to understand, speak, and write in English (C1 level required).
  • Ability to understand, speak, and write in French (B1 level desirable).


EXPERTISE RECQUIRED

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with Spring, including Core, JPA/Hibernate, Security, and MVC.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Continuous Development/Continuous Integration techniques, source code repository control (GIT/Bitbucket), and build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Spring Boot Test, jUnit, and Mockito.Strong knowledge and experience with source code control repositories such as Maven, GIT, SVN, and TFS.
  • Solid knowledge and experience working with Angular and NPM.Proficiency and experience working with Hibernate/JPA.Knowledge and experience with Oracle (version 8+) or MySQL (version 5+)
  • .Familiarity with REST, SOAP, and Spring Web Services.Experience working with the Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo).
  • Knowledge of modern security frameworks/protocols like JWT, JWE, JWKS, OIDC, and CAS (a plus).
  • Understanding of encryption and digital signatures (a plus).Knowledge of API Gateways such as WSO2 and Spring Cloud Gateway or Eureka/Zuul (a plus).
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps (a plus).
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS (a plus).
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0, WCAG 2.1, WAI-ARIA) (a plus).
  • Strong understanding of UX design best practices, particularly responsive and mobile-first design (a plus).
  • Knowledge and experience working with other JavaScript frameworks (e.g., JQuery, NGRX, React, Knockout.js, among others) (a plus).
