Network Engineer

pawaTech is looking for a Network Engineer with a collaborative mindset and strong expertise in network management. As a Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage solutions to ensure the security, stability, and efficiency of our global network across servers, office locations, and remote sites. This role includes connecting devices, maintaining secure communications, and troubleshooting issues to optimise performance.

You will work on:

• Manage global network infrastructure, ensuring security and stability;
• Design and implement scalable network architecture and protocols;
• Configure and maintain FortiGate NGFW, IPSec, iBGP, and proxies;
• Oversee VPN configurations and ensure secure communication between networks;
• Troubleshoot network issues and improve overall performance.

Key skills and experience for this role:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related role;
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and management;
• Hands-on experience with FortiGate NGFW, IPSec, iBGP, and proxies;
• Familiarity with VPN configuration and secure communication protocols;
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues efficiently;
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
