Senior Fullstack Developer – Microsoft Stack & APIs

Hybrid Remote – 2 days per week onsite in Dublin City Centre

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer with expertise in Microsoft technologies. Experience with Microsoft Entra, MSSQL, front-end development, and APIs is highly desirable. You will work as part of an internal project team developing public-facing registration systems, shared-service student information systems, and APIs.

This is a newly created role that will initially focus on enhancing existing applications. The first project involves working on a reporting tool integrated with an external system, requiring advanced SQL skills for dataset interrogation and report generation. In parallel, you will contribute to the ongoing development of an externally facing web application and an internal student information system, including data transfers via APIs.

Technical Skills

We are looking for a candidate with strong skills and experience in full-stack development, primarily using Microsoft technologies, and proficiency in most or all of the following:

• Programming Languages & Frameworks:
• TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS/SASS/Bootstrap, XSL/XML, AJAX/jQuery
• .NET Core Framework 3.1, C#, and T-SQL
• Identity Management:
• Demonstrated experience implementing Azure AD Identity and Access Management (Microsoft Entra) in medium to large-scale web applications
• Software Development Expertise:
• Knowledge of .NET libraries, ADO.NET, Document Object Model (DOM)
• Object-Oriented Design and Development
• MVC framework experience
• Familiarity with design patterns and interoperability issues
• Database Management:
• Strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
• Web Security & Authentication:
• Experience with web-related security, authentication mechanisms, and interoperability with OpenID

Experience

• A minimum of 15 years' practical experience in web software development
• Proven track record working on medium to large-scale projects
• Hands-on responsibility for writing code and delivering projects
• Experience managing all stages of the software development lifecycle, from analysis through testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Demonstrated expertise in developing enterprise-level software solutions
• Strong understanding of security considerations for public-facing websites
