Penetration Tester

We are currently seeking a Senior Penetration Tester and Coordinator to join our client’s team in Zurich for an initial 12-month contract, with the possibility of extensions or permanent internalization.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating penetration testing and Bug Bounty activities from start to finish, ensuring security reviews are executed efficiently and within deadlines. You will manage external penetration testing resources, collaborate with internal application teams, and oversee the remediation of security findings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee penetration tests and Bug Bounty programs.
• Manage external penetration testing resources and ensure efficient capacity planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external security partners to ensure timely completion of security reviews.
• Facilitate meetings, capturing and documenting decisions transparently.
• Track and manage the lifecycle of identified penetration test findings, ensuring effective remediation.
• Maintain high-quality data for the penetration testing process and produce regular reports.
• Work with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in penetration testing processes and tools.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and executing penetration tests.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in IT project management (e.g., CSM, CMP, PMP, PRINCE2 certifications).

Preferred Qualifications:

• IT Security certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or similar are a plus, but not mandatory.
