We are a dynamic team working on a marketing-focused website that aims to excel in both SEO and performance. We are seeking a Senior Front-end Developer who possesses strong technical expertise and understands the business landscape, enabling us to select the right tools to achieve our goals.

This position is available in a hybrid regime that implies working from the office at least once a week. Therefore, please take into account that you would need to be located in or near the Cluj-Napoca area.

What we're looking for:

7+ years of front-end development experience, with the ability to think strategically about business needs and choose the best tools accordingly.
Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript with hands-on experience using various frameworks and libraries, such as Svelte, React, Vue, or similar. We expect strong core JS skills to build and maintain framework-agnostic setups.
In-depth knowledge of modern CSS practices, whether with vanilla CSS, preprocessors (like SASS/SCSS), or frameworks.
Experience in optimizing site performance and SEO, with familiarity in Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, and PageSpeed Insights.
Practical knowledge of SSR (Server-Side Rendering) with .NET or other technologies. Familiarity with isomorphic solutions (Next.js, SvelteKit, Nuxt, etc.) is a plus.
Proficiency in bundling tools (Webpack, Vite, or others) and optimizing builds for performance and maintainability.
Experience working in a collaborative environment, providing mentorship, conducting code reviews, and guiding other developers.
A drive for creating seamless communication with design and marketing teams, translating business requirements into high-performance, SEO-friendly, user-centric websites.

What you'll do:

Develop, maintain, and optimize front-end code that delivers high performance, adhering to SEO best practices.
Collaborate across teams to translate business and design requirements into clean, scalable, and maintainable front-end code.
Guide and mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
Ensure a seamless and performant UI/UX experience across the website, while being conscious of SEO needs and performance metrics.
Stay up to date with evolving front-end technologies, providing input on whether to adopt new frameworks or maintain a framework-agnostic setup.
