Data Scientist

This exciting opportunity places you at the forefront of a forward-thinking organisation that leverages advanced machine learning techniques to tackle complex financial challenges, including predictive modeling, price optimisation, and portfolio management.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science with a focus on predictive modeling for business optimisation.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau.
• Familiarity with ML Ops concepts and practices.
• Strong coding skills in SQL and exposure to messaging platforms (e.g., Kafka).
• Solid understanding of data profiles, patterns, lineage, and data risk mitigation.
• Prior experience working with large datasets and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Hadoop, Teradata, cloud-based platforms).

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to financial crime reporting or regulatory environments.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
