Cybersecurity, Summer Trainee

Are you a university student or an aspiring professional looking to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity? We are looking for a Summer Trainee in Cybersecurity to join our team and work on a diverse range of information and cybersecurity tasks. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain real-world experience, and contribute to security initiatives in a dynamic environment.

As a Cybersecurity Summer Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work on various security-related tasks, including software security, security testing, and secure development practices. You will collaborate with experts in the field and contribute to enhancing our security posture. We value individuals who are self-driven, eager to learn, and excited to explore the world of cybersecurity.

This role is an excellent stepping stone for anyone looking to build a career in cybersecurity, whether through hands-on experience or by expanding their technical knowledge.

We Expect You To

• Be currently pursuing an applied sciences or university degree or be looking to kick-start a career in cybersecurity
• Have an interest or experience in software development, secure software development, or security testing
• Be self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and take initiative
• Have good communication skills in both Finnish and English
  
  

We Value Experiences In

• Basic programming skills in Python, Java, Typescript/JavaScript or C/C++
• Understanding of secure coding principles and software vulnerabilities
• Experience with Git version control and basic software development workflows
  
  

Our office is located in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki, Finland. Partial remote work (hybrid model) is also possible.
