iOS Developer

Phaidon International are working with an IT consultancy who are seeking a skilled and passionate iOS Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS development and a proven track record of building high-quality mobile applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Swift and Objective-C, as well as experience with Xcode and its associated tools.

Location: Remote in Portugal

Language: English and Portuguese

Contract Length: 12 months

Start Date: Jan 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain iOS applications, with a focus on ticketing or public transportation solutions.
• Integrate APIs and web services to enhance application functionality.
• Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that adhere to Apple's design guidelines.
• Implement software architecture and design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or similar.
• Integrate multiple mobility services into a unified user experience.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, product managers, and developers.
• Identify and address technical challenges with strong problem-solving skills.
• Communicate ideas and solutions clearly and concisely.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in iOS development with a portfolio or examples of previous work.
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
• Familiarity with Xcode and its associated tools.
• Experience in building mobile applications, preferably related to ticketing or public transportation solutions.
• Knowledge of API integration and web services.
• Ability to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Understanding of common architectural patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or similar.
• Experience integrating multiple mobility services into a unified user experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
