Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

pawaTech is looking for a QA Automation Engineer with a passion for teamwork and a collaborative spirit. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will design and execute automated test cases for web applications and backend services, ensuring product quality and performance. This role also involves collaborating with development teams to identify potential issues early and contribute to creating scalable, reusable testing solutions that support the continuous delivery of our products.

You will work on:

• Create and maintain automated test cases;
• Develop reusable testing functions and libraries;
• Run automated test suites regularly;
• Log and track defects in the system;
• Generate and share automation reports;
• Ensure the test framework is accessible to the team;
• Collaborate with developers for test coverage;
• Improve test automation processes continuously.

Key skills and experience for this role:

• Proficiency in MySQL;
• Strong expertise in Java programming;
• Familiarity with Selenium for automated testing;
• Experience in automating API tests, particularly with REST Assured;
• Competence in setting up and maintaining test environments;
• Demonstrated ability in designing, creating, and executing both manual and automated test cases;
• Skill in identifying and assessing risks associated with testing;
• Knowledge of Gradle and familiarity with jUnit5;
• Familiarity with generating Allure reports is considered a plus.
