We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Helsinki, Finland.

As a member of an autonomous team, you will be part of the complete software development lifecycle; design and implementation to production deployment and operation. We will have the opportunity to work with all parts of our software stack. You should have a passion for solving customer problems and delivering quality code to production, in small increments.

Product

Noona is our cloud-based software solution for patient relationships and care management. It is designed to connect cancer patients with their clinics throughout their treatment journey.

Noona is used by over 35,000 cancer patients and healthcare professionals in leading oncology centers across North America and Europe.

Our Tech Stack

• Backend in Java and Kotlin with Spring Boot/Security
• REST APIs
• Data stores are PostgreSQL and Snowflake
• All the above running in AWS cloud and managed with Terraform
• Frontend in Typescript and Angular
• CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
  
  

Skills & Qualification Required

• Solid skills in backend software development for web applications
• Experience with one or several front-end frameworks e.g. Angular, React, Vue
• Working experience with CI/CD systems and cloud deployments to AWS or Azure
• Understanding of microservice architecture with RESTful APIs
• Understanding on what it takes to build secure and performant web applications
• A "can-do" attitude with strong collaboration and teamworking skills
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
  
  

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in mobile app development is not required but would be considered as an advantage
