Cloud Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role

A senior-level technical person in the team working with cloud technologies in AWS and Azure projects and operations with a focus on best practices, security and maintenance. The main focus of this Role is cloud services design, infrastructure as code definition, automated deployment (DevOps/CICD), automated operations, and security. Strong involvement and exposure to a broad range of cloud services and technologies is guaranteed. Responsibilities, among other things, are to carry out solution design, automation and infrastructure as code development, HA/FT/performance tuning, troubleshooting, manage operations, ensure security, and much more.

The Must-have Skills

• Experienced with infrastructure as code and deployment automation.
• Strong experience with writing infrastructure as code with any of CDK, Terraform, and or CloudFormation (or other equivalent).
• Strong experience with automated deployment tooling with any of AWS Code Pipeline/Build (etc), Azure DevOps, and or GitLabCi (or other equivalent).
• Very good understanding of multiple cloud services in AWS and or Azure.
• Experience with design of cloud solutions in AWS and or Azure.
• Reasonable familiarity with servers operating systems, networking, data stores, databases, and identity access management.
