IT & COMPLIANCE GOVERNANCE OFFICER – LEADING INVESTMENT FUND COMPANY



Our client is a global infrastructure investment company, that operates on low risk, globally and internally managed investments to deliver long term returns. With approximately 20 persons working in the Luxembourg office, the company offers a human sized and entrepreneurial environment.


A great opportunity has arisen, the chance to join a stable and driven team, as an IT & Compliance Governance Officer. While working closely to the Head of Risk and Compliance as well as the Office Manager, the selected candidate will be involved in developing and enforce oversight frameworks ensure compliance with IT regulations and support operational resilience.


The Role:



Service Provider Oversight:

  • Maintain and enhance the global service provider management framework.
  • Monitor service quality through KPIs, SLAs, and performance reviews.
  • Conduct and lead due diligence processes, including onboarding and periodic assessments.
  • Draft detailed oversight reports for internal use and regulatory/audit requests.
  • Ensure contracts and legal documents comply with Luxembourg regulatory standards.


IT and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Oversee compliance with CSSF regulations, including Circular 22/806 and DORA requirements.
  • Ensure third-party outsourcing and cloud activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor cybersecurity and IT governance practices with service providers.
  • Collaborate on integrating evolving cloud and IT solutions into BBGI’s infrastructure.


Strategic and Operational Support:

  • Lead capacity and availability planning for internal and external resources.
  • Support RFP processes and technical architectural discussions with vendors.
  • Represent BBGI at industry forums, conferences, and events as needed.


The Profile:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in vendor management in Luxembourg.
  • Strong knowledge of CSSF regulations, especially Circular 22/806; familiarity with DORA is a plus.
  • Proven knowledge of IT architecture and solutions.
  • Strong project management skills.Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Fluency in English is required – preferably native level or close
