Senior Information Security Analyst

As a senior analyst in Governance & Information Security team within Global IT department, this position will support and manage the security systems/services and system infrastructure security in the organisation.

The senior analyst ensures that security policies/procedures, processes and controls are developed and maintained for company’s systems and third-party vendors. In addition, other responsibilities include:

• Manage company’s security systems and services.
• Lead security projects and/or work with other project teams to ensure security controls and compliance are adhere to.
• Develop security awareness and training program.
• Perform DLP incident review, security and due diligence assessment on projects and third-party vendors.
• Support incident response and investigation, when needed.
• Any other tasks/projects assigned by the direct manager.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and implementation of company-wide cyber/IT security framework and management processes which includes security policies, procedure, standards, and guidelines.
• Develop and execute security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company’s systems.
• Responsible for leading security projects and/or work cooperatively with other project teams when required and ensure that new project and changes adhere to the security policies and integrate into existing procedures.
• Conduct technology strategic review, identifying and exploring suitable security technologies, strategies, and solutions to meet company needs. Develop solutions / architectures based on technology trends and standards, to explore new and emerging security technologies and products to meet present and future business needs.
• Develop security awareness and training program to ensure employees & third parties understand, acknowledge, and ultimately fulfil their obligation defined in information security policies.
• Organise information security compliance/audit activities design to achieve and maintain high degree of compliance with defined information security requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Information Technology
• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience in designing, deployment and management of security solutions and services for enterprise level application systems, network and system infrastructure (Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA or equivalent will be an added advantage).
• Have working knowledge and experience with standards like ISO27001, CIS, etc
• Good knowledge and experience in servers security (Linux and/or Windows), O365 email security and compliance.
• Proficient in reviewing and analyzing security logs, performing and analyzing vulnerability scans.
• Excellent communication (both oral and written) as well as strong project, vendor and contract management skills.
• Pro-active, dynamic, dedicated and responsible self-starter with strong collaboration and multi-tasking capabilities
