DevOps Manager - Hedge Fund - London

We are recruiting DevOps Manager for a major hedge fund. This is a 'leadership' role but ideally looking for someone who is deeply technical and can operate as an 'individual contributor' as and when needed.

The Role:

• Act as technical lead across various teams: DevOps, Cloud, Platform
• Design and maintain hybrid infrastructure (Azure Cloud)
• Manage network architecture, storage, compute
• Provisioning and automation of DevOps practice
• Disaster recovery / BCP
• Capacity planning
• Vendor Management

Skills:

• Min 5 - 10 years in cloud operations, DevOps or Infrastructure (ideally with exposure to all)
• Bachelor's degree (min) in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Experience in running large (20+ person) multi-disciplinary global teams
• Expert in Microsoft Azure services (Azure DevOps etc)
• A background in a trading business (investment bank, hedge fund, commodity trader)
• Experience of: Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Github
• People focused 'working style'
