Head of DevOps - Hedge Fund - London
We are recruiting DevOps Manager for a major hedge fund. This is a 'leadership' role but ideally looking for someone who is deeply technical and can operate as an 'individual contributor' as and when needed. Your background will ideally cover in Devops and cloud.
The Role:
- Act as technical lead across various teams: DevOps, Cloud, Platform
- Design and maintain hybrid infrastructure (Azure Cloud)
- Provisioning and automation of DevOps practice
- Disaster recovery / BCP
- Capacity planning
- Vendor Management
Skills:
- Min 5 - 10 years in cloud operations, DevOps or Infrastructure (ideally with exposure to all)
- Bachelor's degree (min) in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Experience in running large (20+ person) multi-disciplinary global teams
- Expert in Microsoft Azure services (Azure DevOps etc)
- A background in a trading business (investment bank, hedge fund, commodity trader)
- Experience of: Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Github
- People focused 'working style'
