Lead Product Manager

Here at Hays we have an outstanding opportunity with our Cork-based client, an innovative independent manufacturer who specialise in the supply of purpose-built technology to clients in the biotech industry.

They are actively seeking a Lead Product Manager on a permanent basis to oversee the management of their Single Use Technology (SUT) portfolio. This dynamic role offers ample opportunities for learning and development in a unique workplace that promotes forward-thinking and positive progression from within.

Core Requirements:

• Ability to drive the product- and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams
• Analyse customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build-vs.-buy perspective
• Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
• Willingness to analyse product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re met
• Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments
• Appraise new product ideas and strategise appropriate go-to-market plans
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization.

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant Degree in Process, Biotechnology, Chemical or Engineering related field.
• 4 plus years’ experience in a biopharmaceutical field and having experience of working with single-use technologies
• Exceptional problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to relay complex information effectively
• Strong technical experience in a dynamic product management role
• Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
