.NET Architect

FREELANCE POSITION!! ONLY ITALIAN BASED AND ITALIAN SPEAKER

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect Senior consultant with a strong background in backend technologies and up to date with current industry trends and emerging technologies.

The Software Architect consultant will support in transitioning existing services into new solutions that meet our business needs. We expect Solid understanding of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems.

Since we primarily outsource the development of our solutions, the architect will work with a team of IT experts that can support the process to ensure reaching high quality standard.

Responsibilities

· Design robust backend architectures using modern technologies.

· Support analysis of existing services and define requirements for new projects.

· Oversee the technical design and implementation of complex software projects.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and alignment with business goals.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

· Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance.

· Contribute to ensure the quality, scalability and reliability of our systems.

· Support defining quality KPIs for external service providers.

Qualifications

· Proven experience as Backend developer, at least 5 years in the role; we use C#, NodeJS, Python.

· Deep understanding of software development best practices, including object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.

· Expertise and passion for automated testing, from structuring to writing unit / integration / end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and quality of the software.

· Expertise as Software Architect, ideally building microservices and APIs; we use a MACH approach.

· Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking; excellent communication and team skills.

· Languages: Fluent English required; Italian or German fluency preferred. Travel to Italy expected.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience in building B2B and B2C solutions for mid-size companies.

· Experience with cloud infrastructures; we use Azure.

· Knowledge of DevOps technologies and best practices; you’re not scared by Terraform.

· Familiarity with frontend technologies and frameworks; we use VueJS and Typescript.
