Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with expertise in managing and supporting core Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Office 365, SCCM, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, and Certificate Authority (CA). This position will involve administering and troubleshooting critical systems, ensuring the integrity, availability, and security of our infrastructure, and supporting the implementation of new solutions within our enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and other core Microsoft services.
- Manage and support Microsoft Exchange, including setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee and maintain Office 365 environments, including user management, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Manage System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for patch management, software distribution, and OS deployment.
- Configure, monitor, and support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, ensuring security compliance across systems.
- Implement and maintain Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and application management (MAM).
- Administer and manage Certificate Authority (CA) for issuing and renewing SSL/TLS certificates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of infrastructure upgrades, patches, and new technologies.
- Provide timely and effective support for escalated technical issues related to Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, SCCM, Intune, Defender, and CA.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting.
- Maintain security best practices, including applying patches, performing audits, and adhering to compliance regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and Exchange.
- Strong hands-on experience with Office 365 administration and support.
- Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Proficient in managing and securing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Expertise in Microsoft Intune for device and application management.
- Experience with Certificate Authority (CA) management and SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Solid understanding of ITIL practices, including incident, problem, and change management.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: SCCM and Intune Specialist
- Experience in cloud-based technologies, specifically Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 security solutions.
