Job Title: Global HR Generalist, Poland

Reports to: VP Human Resources

Location: Krakow, Poland (Hybrid)- 3 days in the office

Role: 12 Months Initial Contract (with possibility of extension!)

Purpose

Seeking a high-potential Human Resources Genralist to join the Northern Europe HR Team, providing HR leadership for the company's Polish employees. In this role, you will collaborate with HR team members supporting Northern Europe and the Global HR Centers of Excellence in Talent, Total Rewards, HR Technology & Analytics, and HR Program Management Office to deliver the full scope of HR activities in Poland.


Responsibilities

Business Partnership and Support

  • Understand the business strategy, priorities of Global Business Units (GBUs), Global Support Services (GSSs), and the external environment in the region to execute HR strategies across Poland in partnership with Global HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Lead the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to retirement.
  • Oversee the delivery of HR initiatives and projects across Poland, such as mergers & acquisitions and program implementations, ensuring successful execution.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to senior stakeholders on organizational changes, workforce capability needs, talent development, and culture transformation.
  • Drive key HR processes, including performance management and merit planning.
  • Partner with Site and Business Leaders to foster employee engagement across the country.
  • Stay informed on business activities, employee morale, and key talent in Poland.
  • Monitor HR indicators to inform decision-making and actions.
  • Resolve complex HR issues within legal frameworks and company values.
  • Lead recruitment and talent selection processes to meet business needs and support organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with the Total Reward team to develop, implement, and maintain compensation and benefits programs that are equitable and competitive.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and work with internal/external legal counsel to anticipate legislative impacts.
  • Collaborate with the Global HR community and contribute to discussions and projects as needed.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of global progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • 3+ years of experience working with and negotiating with Works Councils, Unions, and other third-party employment groups.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships at all levels of the organization.
