About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate React Front-End Developer to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in the software development activities for the IRM and Portal Project, contributing to the creation of innovative, high-quality user interfaces and collaborating closely with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and perform proofs of concept (POC) as required.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Ensure optimal application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and technical issues.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Ensure adherence to graphic standards and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Facilitate early resolution of client issues and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to critical feature designs, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Flag technical debt and document areas for improvement, incorporating them into priorities.
• Implement a robust documentation system for knowledge transfer and onboarding.
• Follow Agile Scrum methodologies for application development.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js.
• Experience with React Native is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with Angular, Vue.js, or jQuery is a plus.
• Solid understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem and web application architecture.
• Proficient with SPA, SSR, and Jamstack concepts.
• Experience with design tools like Sketch or Figma.
• Strong focus on performance, code quality, and best practices.
• Proficient with Git and related workflows (branching, CLI commands, etc.).
• Interest in mentoring developers through presentations, code reviews, and pair programming.
• Problem solver with an organized and methodical approach.
• Passionate about staying updated with the latest innovations and trends.
• Fluent in English (minimum B2 level); knowledge of French is a plus.
• Experience with third-party UI component libraries such as Kendo UI, Material UI, or Ant Design is a plus.
• Experience with backend or full-stack development is advantageous.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with design systems and related tooling (e.g., StoryBook).
• Familiarity with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD processes and unit testing.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools like Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
