About The Role:

We’re looking for a new member to be an important part of our global Human Resources team! As a an HR Generalist/Talent Partner, you will provide support to HR Operations and our recruiting team. The position responsibilities span across all functional HR operations including HR employee resource and learning programs, benefits, compensation analysis and HR programs related to employee engagement, work authorization/immigration and more. Additionally, this role will serve as talent partner supporting local Portugal recruiting needs with the global talent team. We are looking for someone who loves to learn and is motivated by having cross functional responsibilities! An acute attention to detail with a track record of effective and supportive client communications is a must!


What you will be doing:

HR Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Support and possibly lead HR Programs for key HR initiatives including Benefits administration, Compensation, Recruitment, Training & Development, Employee Resource Group HR Programs, Annual Performance Review Program, New Hire Orientation, and more.
  • Assist in training administration as needed and track Portuguese employees' training hours spent
  • Provide support with the HR Operations team across all discipline including HR Policies, Compliance, HR Systems, background check adjudication, Portugal new hire employment contract/offer letter generation, New Hire pre-boarding and onboarding, Compensation and Benefits
  • Function as a resource for employees, answer employees’ HR-related queries (benefits, policies, HR programs etc.)
  • Oversees personnel records management, ensuring the integrity of documentation and the accuracy of updates in internal databases to support informed decision-making and organizational effectiveness
  • Support in the administration of the company’s pay program to include salary analysis and benchmarking
  • Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports
  • Time-off system administration and processing leave leave-related paperwork
  • Support Portugal company-sponsored immigration for employees
  • Partner with head of Global Mobility and with external legal resources (as needed) to support internal employee relocations and other global mobility immigration administration needs
  • Ensure that employee immigration physical and online records are up to date
  • Organize local company meetings and celebrations as required including coordination of vendor support services, coordinate food and snacks for office events, etc.


Talent Partner Responsibilities:

Support all aspects of full life cycle recruiting in Portugal, with a focus in technical positions but also able to recruit across all disciplines

  • Work closely with internal groups and the human resource business partners to understand business requirements and consult on talent solutions
  • Review job descriptions with the recruiting and HRBP’s to ensure that the job duties accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents
  • Support other country recruiting needs as requested and as time allows


What you will bring to the role:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with specialty in human resources preferred
  • Fluent in English with polished written and verbal communication skills
  • 4+ years HR experience with1 year HR Generalist experience preferably in both small and large high-tech companies
  • Balanced HR decision-making in managing business problems and challenges with great confidentiality. Recognize and effectively balance the client group’s interests with the needs of the company as a trusted advisor
  • Working knowledge of current labor rules and regulations with demonstrated ability to interpret and apply corporate policies, HR practices and standards in accordance with local country laws
  • Systems savvy in managing, extracting, and analyzing internal data.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced team environment handling multiple priorities and tasks with a high degree of accuracy and speed
  • Superior editing, accuracy, attention to detail, respect for and ability to manage deadlines
  • A hands-on learner with natural initiative and curiosity
  • High level of logical and analytical thinking skills and ability to apply skills to developing practical and creative problem-solving approaches to unusual or unexpected issues
  • Possesses a high level of flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to establish trust and confidence by demonstrating a high level of credibility and integrity
  • Strong customer service focus with a sense of urgency and excellent follow through
  • Absolute ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Demonstrated track record participating and developing programs that result in improved efficiency and measurable results for the organization
  • Solid knowledge of HRIS/ATS and MS Office
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong team player and willingness to do what is needed
  • Curious with a strong track record of learning and successfully applying knowledge
  • Good sense of humor
