Backend Software Engineer

Desired qualifications;

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Experience in at least one of our major programming languages; Go (Golang), PHP or Node.js
  • Experience in software development of high-availability systems
  • Experience in REST API and web service development
  • Experience in relational (SQL) database systems and knowledge of document-oriented (NoSQL) databases
  • Proficiency in object-oriented software design and OOP programming languages
  • Loyalty to the software development principles and lifecycle
  • Comfortable with working on LINUX systems (Ubuntu, Debian, Alpine etc) and distributed version control systems (we use Git)
  • Interest in learning and implementing new technologies


Nice to have;

  • Microservices architecture, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Database systems such as DynamoDB, MySQL, Redis or Elasticsearch
  • Other programming languages we use or may use such as Python, Bash, Lua, Java, TypeScript, etc.
  • Application frameworks such as React.js, Express.js, Yii, Django, etc.
  • Big data technologies
  • Unit testing, code coverage, code quality and security principles
  • Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Cloud computing platforms, especially Amazon Web Services
