Backend team responsibilities;

Develop scalable and high-availability backend services that communicate live with online games
Build workflows for analytics, live data processing, and system operations
Develop web applications for managing and monitoring online games and backend services
Design and manage the lifecycle of backend projects and their cloud infrastructure

Desired qualifications;

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
Experience in at least one of our primary programming languages; Go (Golang), Python or Node.js
Able to contribute to React.js and PHP based projects when necessary
Experience in REST API and web service development
Experience in relational (SQL) database systems and knowledge of document-oriented (NoSQL) databases
Proficiency in object-oriented software design and OOP programming languages
Loyalty to the software development principles and lifecycle
Comfortable with working on LINUX systems (Ubuntu, Debian, Alpine etc) and distributed version control systems (we use Git)
Interest in learning and implementing new technologies

Nice to have;

Software development of high-availability systems
Unit testing, code coverage, code quality and security principles
Database systems such as DynamoDB, MySQL, Amazon Redshift, Redis, Elasticsearch etc.
Big data technologies & workflow management
Cloud computing platforms, especially Amazon Web Services
Microservices architecture, Docker and Kubernetes
Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, OpenTofu etc.
