Back End Developer

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Back-End Developer to power the infrastructure behind our digital platforms. You will collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create efficient, scalable, and secure back-end systems. A key focus of this role will be developing a robust B2C marketing platform for publishing, utilizing modern technologies such as Go and Java, while maintaining and optimizing existing PHP-based legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs using Go and Java.
• Ensure the seamless integration of the back-end systems with front-end components.
• Optimize legacy PHP-based systems to improve performance and maintainability.
• Build scalable and secure systems for a publishing-focused B2C marketing platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Debug and resolve technical issues and ensure high system availability.
• Stay updated with emerging back-end technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong proficiency in Go and Java, with hands-on experience in back-end development.
• Experience working with and optimizing legacy PHP systems.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on scalability and performance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Understanding of security best practices in back-end development.
