Senior IT Specialist/Infrastructure Engineer - Permanent - Hybrid (Upper Austria) - €55 - 75k DOE

The Challenge:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior IT Specialist to join our clients dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our clients IT infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing Expert IT Support: Delivering high-level technical expertise to resolve complex incidents and fulfil service requests for both the Service Desk and local site IT teams.
• Enhancing IT Security: Ensuring compliance with all IT security regulations and implementing appropriate security measures across the region.
• Leading IT Projects: Actively participating in and leading IT projects within your designated region and sites.
• Driving IT Best Practices: Providing expert technical and organizational consulting to local sites and service centers, guiding the implementation of existing and new IT standards and policies.
• Problem Resolution: Developing and verifying effective solutions to recurring IT issues (problem management).
• Budgeting & Cost Management: Assisting local site IT teams in the budgeting process for IT-related expenses.
• Infrastructure Management: Overseeing the administration and maintenance of local and regional IT infrastructure, systems, and services.
• License Management: Managing software licenses for all IT systems within your area of responsibility.
• Knowledge Base Management: Creating and maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date technical documentation in a global knowledge base.

Your Profile:

• Deep IT Expertise: Possess a strong foundation in a wide range of IT systems, with a particular emphasis on:
• Azure Cloud Services
• Microsoft Entra ID/Azure Active Directory
• Networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, switching)
• Windows Server Administration
• Server Management Tools and Technologies
• Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role (e.g., IT Administrator, IT Expert, IT Engineer).
• Excellent Communication: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Strong Work Ethic: Willingness to travel within the region to support local sites as needed.
