Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize Data Processing: Design, implement, and optimize database infrastructure to handle millions of financial transactions efficiently.
• AI and Data Integration: Leverage AI technologies to automate and streamline data-related tasks and improve overall processing speed.
• Database Management: Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our database systems, primarily using MySQL.
• Development in C#: Collaborate with development teams using C# to integrate backend database solutions with application logic.
• Problem Solving: Tackle complex challenges and develop innovative solutions to optimize database performance and data processing.
• Infrastructure Design: Architect and design database infrastructure to support rapid business growth and ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility.
• Agile Working: Operate within an Agile environment, contributing to regular sprints and delivering on key milestones.
• Collaborative Autonomy: Work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier database solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Database Developer, Database Architect, or similar role.
• 5+ years professional experience
• Strong expertise with MySQL and C# programming.
• Experience with designing and implementing database infrastructure, ideally in a high-transaction or fintech environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical solutions to complex problems.
• Familiarity with AI or data science technologies used for optimizing databases and data processing.
• Knowledge of Agile working environments and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English (French or Dutch would be a plus).
