[What the role is]

PROJECT MANAGER, FARE SYSTEM-BUS & SYSTEMS

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the Project team responsible to deliver the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system. The system shall be developed for commuters using buses and MRT/LRT.

With the implementation of Account-Based Ticketing which allows commuters to pay for public transport fares using credit and debit cards, you will get to understand how the new payment modes are implemented at the bus and rail ticketing systems, and have many opportunities to put in place requirements to fulfil more and evolving user needs.

You will manage the development and implementation of new initiative on Bus Ticketing System and Back Office System. Manging in-house development team and external stakeholders on the delivery of bus ticketing and back office system to meet key dates and to ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule.

You have to manage contractors and contracts on the asset replacement/renewal and conduct proper risk assessment and also the development schedule of in-house developed application.

[What we are looking for]

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology / Engineering / Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• A profession certificate in project management such as CITPM or PMP will be an advantage.
• Experience with system implementation projects with preferably at least 10 years in related work
• Good domain knowledge of revenue collection systems or e-payment systems
• Self-initiated, proactive, good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Resourceful and self-motivated team player with a positive work attitude.
• Demonstrate ability to manage a team of project staffs
