Dreamscape Learn, a leading pioneer in the realm of immersive XR educational products, is actively seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Artist to design intuitive, immersive user experiences for our VR platform. We are seeking a UI/UX Artist with 6+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years designing for XR platforms, to create innovative and user-centered designs that elevate our VR platform. This role combines creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of spatial design and user interaction in XR. The ideal candidate will leverage their Unity expertise to ensure seamless integration of UI assets and interactions into immersive environments, providing accessible, intuitive, and visually engaging experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • UI/UX Design:
    • Develop intuitive, functional, and visually engaging user interfaces tailored for XR platforms
    • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and improve usability
    • XR Interaction Design:
    • Design and refine interaction models optimized for immersive environments, ensuring natural and seamless user experiences
    • Innovate spatial UI principles to present content effectively in a virtual space
    • Collaboration:
      • Partner with product managers, developers, and instructional designers to align project goals and requirements
      • Collaborate with 3D artists and animators to ensure UI assets integrate seamlessly into immersive experiences
    • Research and Testing:
      • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather actionable feedback and iterate on designs
      • Stay informed on trends in VR, XR, edtech, and UX design to apply cutting-edge techniques and insights
    • Asset Creation:
      • Design and produce 2D/3D UI assets, including menus, icons, overlays, heads-up displays (HUDs)
      • Use Unity to integrate and optimize UI elements within VR experiences while maintaining performance and visual consistency

    Requirements

    • 6+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong focus on interactive and immersive projects
    • 2+ years of experience designing for XR platforms (e.g., VR/AR/MR)
    • Proficiency in Unity for UI integration and optimization
    • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch
    • Experience with 3D tools like Blender or Maya for asset creation and integration
    • Strong understanding of XR interaction design principles and spatial UX
    • A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design expertise, with examples of immersive or interactive projects
    • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, Game Design, or equivalent professional experience


    Preferred Skills

    • Familiarity with the technical constraints of XR platforms and optimization techniques
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present design concepts effectively
    • Knowledge of emerging trends in XR to drive innovative solutions


    Benefits

    • Compensation $100,000 - $120,000 per annum (DOE)
