Your New Role
Join their highly motivated team of engineers as a Junior Backend Engineer, working on backend APIs for a leading banking app in Australia. You will be hands-on coding and shaping the evolution of this system by designing and developing microservices, data access layers, REST APIs, and integrating third-party APIs. You'll manage risk with safe deployments and automated testing, while constantly expanding your knowledge in back-end engineering.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• 1-3 years of proven hands-on experience in developing backend applications using technologies such as C# .NET Core, REST APIs, and WebAPI.
  
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  
• Passion for building, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions.
  
• Confidence in collaborating, presenting ideas, influencing, and challenging stakeholders.
  
• Continuous learning, experimenting, and driving innovation while applying best patterns and practices.
  
• Solid hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices.
  
• Creative thinking and breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems and achieve core business objectives.
  
• Strong understanding of security best practices and principles.
