About the role

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Smartbi, you will develop, deploy, and maintain scalable machine learning solutions that power advanced AI-driven operations for our clients. You will work alongside data scientists and software engineers to deliver production-grade machine learning models that enhance efficiency in sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, and energy.

In practice, you will:

• Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models and data pipelines.

• Ensure smooth deployment of models into production environments, monitoring performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to build end-to-end AI solutions.

• Apply MLOps principles to streamline the machine learning lifecycle from development to deployment.

In you, we would like to see:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in machine learning and software engineering.

• Proficient in Python, SQL, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), including EDGE deployments.

• Hands-on experience in building ML pipelines, data versioning, and maintaining production models.

• Experience with MLOps, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and version control.

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and model optimization techniques.

• Fluency in English; Finnish is a plus.
