Data Scientist (AI & Analytics) position at Smartbi

About the role

As a Data Scientist at Smartbi, you will drive innovation by developing and deploying machine learning models and data-driven solutions to solve real-world problems for our industrial clients. You will work closely with data engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver predictive analytics that optimize business operations.

In practice, you will:

• Build and deploy machine learning models for various industrial use cases.

• Analyze and process large datasets to generate actionable insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of data science solutions.

• Communicate complex data results and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In you, we would like to see:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data science or machine learning.

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with cloud platforms like Azure.

• Experienced with machine learning and data science tools such as Python, Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch.

• Familiarity with APIs, Git, and good coding practices.

• Skilled in data visualization using tools like Matplotlib and Seaborn.

• Strong understanding of MLOps and DataOps concepts.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluency in English; Finnish is a plus.
