International Council of Peace and Security is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that aims to share and spread academic content to people all around the world with foreign policy analyses over countries and regions within peace and security studies. It focuses on diverse sub-categories across multi disciplines, from international energy security, political violence and disarmament to Polieconomics as well as providing data based research barometers annually to Cultivate heightened awareness and understanding of matters pertaining to international security and peace at a global scale.Website. At ICSP, the academic team consists of international writers and members from its 12 departments. ICPS does write in many fields with foreign policy based non partisan, political analysts with the aim of sharing the academic analysis and knowledge our team has, to allow all the people around the globe to benefit from this knowledge without any charges or subscriptions while promoting peace and security analyses all over the world.
Who We Are Recruiting For Position?
We, as the International Council of Peace and Security, are looking for people who are interested in the Human Resources Communication department with supporting resumes for the position they are applying for. We will be hiring 1 person to our human resource recruitment department for the Human Resources Communications Manager position and responsibilities for this position will be as listed below:
As the Human Resources Communication Manager, you will assume a multifaceted role, overseeing various critical functions within our HR department's external and internal communication teams. Your responsibilities will include the provision of on boarding and training to newly recruited communication officers, offering mentorship and guidance to our both teams at internal and external communication. In addition to your directing and supervision duties, you will make sure that each communication officer is provided with strategic communication techniques to enable us to demonstrate professionalism and communicate with the external audience in the best way and best representation of our organisation. You will make sure that internal communication strategies are reinforced and enable our team to use platforms and systems that help us operate more professionally and efficiently.
As the HRCM of HR Communication Officers, you are integral to the smooth functioning of our HR department. Your role necessitates close collaboration with other HR executives, including the HR Director, HR Training and Development Director, and the Chief Strategy Officer. Furthermore, you will provide regular weekly reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer, sharing insights and updates on your team's activities. To excel in this position, you should hold a relevant degree or possess substantial experience in the field of human resources, communication studies, public diplomacy/relations. This will demonstrate your commitment to professional growth and development in this domain. While you enjoy a degree of autonomy in your work, your collaborative efforts with fellow HR managers and directors are essential to our success. Your activities will be subject to final approval by both the CHRO and the Chief Strategy Officer, ensuring alignment with our weekly and monthly strategic initiatives.

The manager must be adept at tailoring their communication style to different audiences and contexts.
Mentorship: The capability to provide onboarding and training is crucial for the HRCM. This involves equipping communication officers with the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles. The manager must create effective training programs, monitor progress, and contribute to the continuous professional development of the communication team.
Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking is necessary for developing and implementing effective communication techniques. The manager must align communication strategies with the organization's goals, ensuring that messages are not only clear but also contribute to the overall success of the International Council of Peace and Security.
Efficiency Management: Implementing platforms and systems to enhance communication efficiency is a key responsibility. The manager must identify and utilize tools that enable the team to operate more professionally and streamline communication processes for optimal effectiveness.
What Are Our Requirements For The Position?
- A relevant Master's degree in Public Relations, Communication and Media Studies, Human Resource Management, Public Diplomacy, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in international organisations, INGOs or Foreign Affairs Service with a preference for embassy or diplomatic work exposure. Knowledge of diplomatic vocabulary and public policy is highly valued.
- Demonstrated proficiency in HR principles, practices, and team management. Prior experience in external relations roles and a proven track record in conflict resolution within the recruitment process.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences. Proficiency in using LinkedIn and other effective communication with potential hires.
- Strong conflict resolution skills, with the ability to identify and effectively resolve conflicts or challenges that may arise during the communication with external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, capable of handling a high volume of work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in data entry, reporting, and utilising data analysis tools for weekly reports.
- A strong desire to advance in the HR field with a commitment to continuous learning. Sensitivity to cultural, gender-based, religious, racial, national, and age differences, demonstrating a dedication to diversity and inclusion.
- The highest standards of integrity and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to strategize the organisation's representation for external audiences, leveraging diplomatic vocabulary and understanding of public policy.
