Solutions Architect - Digital Banking (Muscat, Oman)
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the technology integration strategy for a major digital banking transformation project at a leading Middle Eastern bank. This role will focus on designing and implementing seamless integration solutions between the bank's new mobile banking application and key external systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the integration architecture to ensure seamless data exchange across banking systems and external platforms.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for digital banking services.
- Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure robust system architecture.
- Lead the API strategy and integration framework, ensuring interoperability between internal and external banking systems.
- Define best practices for data flow, security, compliance, and system resilience.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to optimize system connectivity.
- Provide technical leadership in solution design, system mapping, and architecture governance.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security standards in all integrations.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, system integration, and enterprise IT.
- Proven track record in digital banking, fintech, or financial services architecture.
- Strong expertise in API development, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Malaa, ROP, Khatem, OGN, and other key financial systems.
- Deep understanding of banking security, compliance, and data governance.
- Ability to work in an agile environment, managing multiple integrations simultaneously.
- Experience in the Middle East market is a plus.

- Duration: Full-time, 12-month contract (with potential extension)
