Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Risk Officer to join our team on a hybrid working model in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity with a strong focus on risk assessment and management. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead vulnerability management processes, penetration testing, and risk modeling in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to manage cybersecurity risk through appropriate communication channels.
- Design and manage a robust vulnerability management process that simplifies risk communication and action identification.
- Deliver penetration testing on internal systems and applications, providing detailed findings reports and collaborating with stakeholders on mitigation actions.
- Produce periodic reports on the organization’s Cyber Security Posture.
- Develop and maintain a cybersecurity risk model encompassing systems, services, and data.
- Apply the MITRE ATT&CK framework for attack simulation and risk modeling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver multidisciplinary projects.
- Write clear, concise reports and deliver results to stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of Cybersecurity experience with a demonstrable focus on risk assessment and management.
- Professional qualification in a framework or standard that incorporates cybersecurity risk assessment.
- A penetration testing qualification from a recognized vendor (beyond academic coursework).
- Proven experience in leading or contributing significantly to vulnerability management processes within Public Sector, FinTech, or Public Services organizations.
- Expertise in penetration testing for:
- Web applications (Java, PHP, Angular).
- Infrastructure (network, Windows, Linux, database).
- API/Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Hands-on experience with attack simulation, risk modeling, and applying the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a cybersecurity environment.
