Within Engine System Integration team, we are looking for a qualified:

As Data Scientist and Coordinator in the Global Engines System Integration team, you are responsible for developing methodologies to continuously improve the analytical capabilities of the Data Analytics subteam. In this role, you specifically add your knowledge on data science and your skills as a coordinator to optimize the capabilities and output of the System Integration team.

Your responsibilities and goals:

• Take ownership of the Global Engines data analytics methodologies and processes
• Develop Roadmap for the Data Analytics team for Continuous improvement of methodologies and processes
• Improve the analytical capabilities of the team by innovate data analytics methods and sources
• Prioritize and plan work of the team within the Integration and Verification departments, in close cooperation with the respective supervisors and line leads
• Coordinate Global Engines say in data sources, as well as improvements to these sources
• Initiate and coordinate dashboards in tools such as PowerBI or Tableau for Department KPI monitoring and actions with DAF applications. Flag concerning observations within organization.
  
  
  

Daily activities are in close cooperation with Global Engine Development teams in Eindhoven and North America, the Engine Test Center in Eindhoven, the PACCAR Technical Center, and other PACCAR stakeholders (Embedded Engineering, Production Engineering, After Sales, Compliance, etc).

Jouw profiel

• Degree in Data Science;
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience;
• Experience in executing the full life-cycle of data analytics projects
• Basic knowledge of automotive, combustion engine technology is preferred, willingness to learn about this is required.
• Good English skills are mandatory, Dutch skills are a pre;
• Experience with working in multidisciplinary teams is preferable.
