Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated senior Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in microservices architecture to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of developing applications using Java and Spring frameworks. You will assist in designing and implementing REST APIs, working with message-oriented middleware, and contributing to the overall performance and scalability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of large-scale applications using Java and the Spring/Spring Boot framework.
• Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Gain experience working with message-oriented middleware (MOM) architectures, utilizing messaging protocols such as JMS, AMQP, or MQTT, and frameworks like Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Support the development and integration of SOAP web services as needed.
• Help design and manage both relational databases (e.g., MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis).
• Write clean, secure, and reusable code for enterprise Java applications (both API and web-based).
• Learn and apply security concepts and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in the development and deployment of applications in Linux, Windows, and/or Mac environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to understand CI/CD pipelines and embrace DevOps practices.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 7+ years of experience as a developer, with a focus on Java and microservices architecture.
• Basic understanding of designing and developing REST APIs using Spring/Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with message-oriented middleware (MOM) architectures and messaging protocols (JMS, AMQP, MQTT) is a plus.
• Exposure to developing SOAP web services is beneficial.
• Understanding of relational databases (MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis).
• Awareness of security concepts and practices in application development.
• Familiarity with application servers (e.g., JBoss) is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools is advantageous.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
