Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).

About The Role

This role sits within the Creative Studio, a small team of designers, illustrators, and filmmakers serving creative needs across the company—from launch campaigns to our user conference "Make with Notion." We’re seeking an experienced Brand Designer who can work across our in-house team and contractors to help bring dozens of projects to life — and can help our team reach exceptional outcomes. We are also open to candidates with a motion background.

What You'll Achieve

• You'll join a small team of designers and help to shape our identity, printed matter, social, merch, videos, events and more
• You'll craft every detail of branded projects, from initial idea through to production
• You'll create design systems and guidelines, finalize template and asset files for production
• You'll collaborate with teams across the company to bring initiatives and new products to market using novel design and storytelling solutions
• You'll develop a deep understanding of Notion's brand and help to expand and evolve it over time
  
  
  

Skills You'll Need To Bring

• You have at least 5 years experience in an agency or in-house environment
• You have an outstanding portfolio of relevant work
• You demonstrate excellence in visual design and typographic skills
• You are a self-starter who brings new ideas to the table
• You possess strong presentation and communication skills
• You work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• You have a desire to review work, mentor others, and co-create with partners from different backgrounds and expertises
• You have good knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

• A passion for toolmaking and expanding access to technology.

Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in New York City, the estimated hourly range for this role is $70-110 per hour.
