HR Generalist, Global


As an HR Generalist reporting to the Senior Director, Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide general HR support to Global employees based in the United States throughout their employee experience. You will partner closely with our HR Partners based at Sephora Global Headquarters as well as with Center of Excellence HR Functional Partners in Compensation, Talent Development and Talent Acquisition, as well as with Finance, Technology and Facilities.


  • Act as conduit between HQ and US to support the employee lifecycle and experience for Global employees based in the United States. Facilitate effective communication between teams. Identify trends and potential risks from engagement survey, exit interviews/surveys, conversations and escalate as necessary, providing recommendations to address
  • Lead recruitment process for Global employees based in the United States
  • Create streamline processes and identify on-going process efficiencies and potential improvements to ensure our local U.S. systems and repositories are shared with our HQ partners
  • Onboard U.S.-based Global Employees explaining to them U.S. policies as well as ensuring their HQ-based Managers are also aware of U.S. policies and protocol
  • Provide support with various HR programs, including annual performance review cycles, compensation, talent reviews and succession planning, and engagement survey/action planning
  • Support HQ and LVMH initiatives as needed

We are excited about you if you have:


  • 3-4 years of Corporate HR experience in a Generalist, Specialist or Recruitment role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including influencing and ability to encourage innovation
  • Highly collaborative style. Willingness and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, across an organization with multiple locations
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency. Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
  • Experience with conflict management and employee relations
