Terminal Antenna Engineer

Huawei Helsinki research center is now looking for a prominent Terminal Antenna Engineer to join our Terminal antenna and RF lab, where we work to ensure the top quality of our products.

Main Responsibilities

• Create new innovative ideas and major IPRs for antenna solutions, including mmWave and sub-6GHz fields.
• Support the technical planning and implementation of terminal antenna in 5G technology and beyond.
• Participate in the design and development of the next generation of HUAWEI device products and lead multi antenna design, performance simulation, layout development, system debugging and verification, etc.
• Leading terminal antenna technology research and design, promoting technology research results to product implementation, for the future of HUAWEI's device product competitiveness and contribution value.
• Keep track on the prototype development and develop plan for improvement.
  
  

Requirements

• M.Sc. degree in electrical/electronic engineering, electromagnetic field and microwave technology, high frequency microwave engineering, antenna design or related majors. Ph.D. is preferred.
• Excellent understanding on RF design theory and good RF design experience
• Expert on RF circuit simulation tools such as ADS or AWR
• Expert on electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, SONNET and etc.
• Hands on experience on RF device measurement, familiar with Vector Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope and etc.
• Basic programming skills, such as Matlab, C/C++ etc.
• Good communication skills in English
• Good at team work, international team coordination and cooperation ability, available for business travel on request
• Self-motivated and fast learner
  
  

Contract Type: This is a full-time consultant position, the consultant shall be employed by Huawei's supplier.
