Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Agile Coach with deep expertise in JIRA and EazyBI to support a portfolio of approximately 29 projects operating under different project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Hybrid, Kanban, and Scrum. The successful candidate will provide coaching and mentoring to Agile teams, ensuring consistency in Agile practices and JIRA usage across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• JIRA/EazyBI Support: Coach Agile teams in effectively using JIRA and EazyBI to produce reporting metrics. Expertise in the EazyBI add-on is essential.
• Training & Development: Coordinate and roll out JIRA, EazyBI, and Agile-specific training tailored to Agile teams as required.
• Certification Alignment: Collaborate with the Central Test Team to ensure consistency across Agile projects in alignment with an Agile Test Strategy.
• JIRA Upgrade & Migration: Work closely with the Content Management Team to support the JIRA upgrade/migration planned for 2025.
• Consistency in JIRA: Partner with the Central Test Team to standardise JIRA board structures and assist in reorganising existing projects within the JIRA estate.
• Agile Ways of Working: Support project teams in Agile methodologies (e.g., PI Planning sessions) and address Agile-related challenges as they arise.
• Agile Role Support: Assist business and development teams in understanding their roles within Agile teams.
• Standardisation: Ensure Agile project teams adhere to established standards while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• Quality Assurance: Work with the PDA team to create a structured QA process for Agile projects, aligning with existing Waterfall QA practices.
• Metrics & Reporting: Ensure teams implement consistent metrics to track progress and report potential delays/issues to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Expert knowledge of JIRA and EazyBI is essential.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach.
• Excellent knowledge of Agile software development practices.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in facilitation, coaching, and mentoring Agile teams.
• Ability to work effectively with large teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Deep understanding of various project delivery methodologies and their integration with Agile.
• Experience incorporating Agile practices into a predominantly Waterfall delivery model.
• Experience working in large-scale ICT environments.
• Previous experience with a JIRA migration would be advantageous.
