PURPOSE OF ROLE

Reporting to the IT Mobilisation & Growth Manager, the successful candidate will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of Digital Transformation programs/projects. This role involves analysing project data, preparing reports, and delivering successful IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Working closely with the wider IT Department in Ireland, International and the US, driving growth and process efficiency.



ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing IT projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & control and closure.
  • Responsible for implementing point-of-sale changes in line with business strategy, acting as a liaison between IT functional and technical groups and the business teams. Collaborating with various operational, functional, and management leads across multiple lines of business, including IT vendor partners and client partners.
  • Understanding of EPOS system architecture, including network configurations and integrations with other systems
  • Define and communicate project milestones, service level agreements with Project Team and end users to ensure alignment with project goals
  • Manage financial aspects of projects including budgeting as applicable.
  • Review performance of supported applications to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for improved use and management of information in support of organisational priorities, evaluating third-party software products and outsourcing providers as appropriate.
  • Provide digital consultative services to differentiate Aramark in its business development efforts, helping articulate how consumer facing technology offerings can meet customer needs and drive business results for clients.
  • Facilitate effective working relationships with team members to maintain a high level of performance.
  • Advocate a continual service improvement ethos



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong understanding of project management methodologies. PMP, Agile, PRINCE2, etc.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in an IT Project Management/Delivery Role.

Proven experience delivering successful IT projects in areas such as EPOS, Digital Transformation Initiatives.

Experienced in change management & vendor management.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Strong structured problem-solving techniques.

Experience working with senior stakeholders up to board level.

Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

Demonstrates an ability to learn and grow within the role – obsessed with delivering the best possible results.

Strong work ethic and ability to work on own initiative.

Exceptional teamwork and leadership skills are essential.

Strong knowledge of GDPR and data protection regulations.

Confident at multi-tasking. Excellent time management skills and able to work to deadlines.



QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Professional certification in Project Management, such as PMP, is highly desirable.

Proven experience in IT strategic planning and development, project management, and policy development.

Possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills combined with demonstrated team management capabilities.

Demonstrate knowledge and experience around the development and management of the software lifecycle for commercial and custom applications and data environments.

Strong experience with change management processes.
