Java Developer

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our Digital Retail Solutions team.

You will be an integral member of a passionate and collaborative cross-functional team, dedicated to working with cutting-edge products like POS and Commerce systems. The team comprises over 50 professionals, including Product Managers, System Analysts, Quality Assurance engineers, Developers, and various other experts.

We are looking for an enthusiastic developer with a good understanding of Java, PostgreSQL, and other key technologies. You will play a pivotal role in building and refining our POS solution, ensuring its responsiveness and efficiency.

 What you will do:

·       Develop and maintain our POS solution using Java, PostgreSQL, and other relevant technologies

·       Create and manage RESTful services

·       Use JMS protocol for messaging services

·       Knowledge and practical usage of SpringBoot framework

·       Containerize applications using Docker for easy deployment and scaling

·       Ensure system compatibility with Debian distribution (Linux)

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

·       Optimize code and infrastructure for maximum speed and scalability

·       Observe your code's performance on specialized hardware in a designated test lab

What we expect from you:

·       At least 3 years of professional experience in software development

·       Strong knowledge of Java, PostgreSQL, RESTful services

·       Familiarity with Dockers and Linux

·       Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail

·       Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

·       Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends

·       Experience in the retail business is an advantage

·       Experience in front-end technologies (Angluar, IONIC) is an advantage.

·       Good English skills, both written and spoken
