Back End Developer

We are seeking a talented and passionate Software Developer with expertise in PHP Laravel and AWS. ReactJS experience is a plus. This role is ideal for individuals at the junior or mid level who are looking to grow their skills and career in a supportive and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP Laravel.

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-based applications on AWS.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proven experience as a Software Developer, particularly with PHP Laravel.

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (ReactJS experience is a plus).

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

• Knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have

• Experience with ReactJS and building interactive UIs.

• Knowledge of Docker and containerisation.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
