We are looking for a Data Scientist for a remote project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and process large-scale datasets to derive actionable insights and support machine learning models.

• Develop, deploy, and fine-tune machine learning models to address complex business challenges.

• Utilize advanced data transformation and visualization tools to create robust and interactive reports and dashboards.

• Collaborate on AI-focused projects, contributing to areas such as prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and text processing.

• Design and maintain scalable data workflows and pipelines using modern tools for real-time and batch processing.

• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code to ensure robustness and scalability of solutions.

• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) to deploy data and machine learning solutions efficiently and securely.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python, with experience in modern ML tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or RAPIDS.

• Expertise with scalable data processing frameworks like PySpark, Dask, or Polars.

• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and techniques like feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning.

• Experience with visualization tools such as Plotly, or interactive dashboard frameworks (e.g., Streamlit).

• Knowledge of NLP techniques and LLM-related applications, such as prompt optimization and document retrieval.

• Fluent English (mandatory);

• The candidate must be living in Portugal (mandatory).
